Account Manager – Digital Media

ABOUT US:

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Account Manager is a digital native who blends a passion for research with experience in social media marketing, advertising, and public relations. They are resourceful, trendsetting, and collaborate within a team to elevate clients’ profiles and manage day-to-day digital PR operations. Responsibilities include overseeing social media campaigns, crafting content, curating multimedia materials, and maintaining dynamic communication between the service team, clients, and audiences. They also ensure cohesive operations by executing management directives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Servicing:
• Assist in developing creative and strategic client proposals.
• Serve as the main contact for media relations, digital PR, and event implementation.
• Create detailed critical paths for scheduling and managing digital PR activities and events.
• Proactively present opportunities to clients for results-based activities.
• Collaborate with company departments to promote the brand through social media channels.
Editorial:
• Research and write digital content based on client briefs.
• Assist in brainstorming ideas for online content and client competitions.
• Oversee the creation and publishing of original, high-quality content.
• Establish a regular publishing schedule and manage an editorial calendar for timely campaigns.
• Promote content through social advertising.
Social Media Monitoring:
• Analyze social media trends, ad revenue, and web visitor data to enhance campaigns.
• Monitor Arabic and/or English social media for client-relevant news.
• Alert Line Managers of relevant social media developments.
• Evaluate online content and recommend actionable strategies to clients.
Event Management:
• Assist in organizing and managing events (e.g., press conferences, gala dinners).
• Source third-party suppliers for event requirements.
• Handle invitations and RSVPs.
• Maximize event coverage on social media.
Administration:
• Develop brand awareness and manage online reputation.
• Oversee content management and SEO to generate inbound traffic.
• Cultivate leads and sales.
• Prepare and distribute client reports (e.g., weekly, quarterly, meeting summaries).
OTHER COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, administration, or related fields.
Experience:
• Proven track record in managing key accounts, preferably with UAE/Abu Dhabi exposure in digital media.
