Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial and AML regulations. The role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and strong organizational skills, especially for a real estate firm that operates in both brokerage and holiday homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.

• Prepare and process invoices for brokerage and holiday home rentals,

• Handle VAT filings, compliance, and reporting requirements as per UAE laws.

• Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees and vendors.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions.

• Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all financial activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.

• Minimum of (7) years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the UAE.

• Knowledge of accounting standards (IAS/IFRS) and UAE VAT and AML regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and MS Office applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Familiarity with real estate industry regulations and transactions is an advantage.

The position require transactions, regulations, accounting, real estate, brokerage, daily accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial statements, reporting, payroll, payments, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cash flow, accounting standards, accounting software, time management mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
