Description

Our Client, a Metal & Scrap Business is currently seeking a Business Development Manager (Ferrous and Non-Ferrous) to join the team in Dubai. The Business Development Manager oversees the purchase of scrap metal & supports maintaining customer relationships for future sales and growth of the business.

This position exists to source materials from lead generation through to close of the transaction. The position holder works with buying/sourcing, operations, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction that leads to meeting targets for revenue growth and increased margin. This individual develops and implements a targeted growth plan to meet customer expansion goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and grow a strong network of both buyers and sellers of metal scrap.

• Quote prices on scrap materials based on contracts to fill, market price, the volume being offered and competitor's prices.

• Perform inspection and evaluation of materials.

• Price evaluation and monitoring.

• Develop customer relationships including explaining the process of metal sales. etc.
