Description

Our client is a fast-growing, thriving law firm providing legal services to the Power & Energy industry across the GCC.

• Advise the firm’s clients on EU regulatory and compliance affairs particularly in relation to start-up and business expansion.
• Communicate regulatory developments internally to the team.
• Support engagement with regulatory authorities and industry bodies in Oman.
• Collaborate with the team to manage impact on client management.
• Contribute to strategic planning for the team.
• Monitor and analyse legal and regulatory changes across EMEA.
• Brief the SLT on regulatory risks and opportunities.

• Qualified lawyer: EU jurisdiction.
• Background in EMEA Power & Energy projects in GCC (desirable).
• Familiarity with key European legislation & regulations.
• Strong understanding of EMEA legislative processes and regulatory institutions.
• Experience of engaging with industry groups and supervisory authorities in GCC / EMEA.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven client management skills.
• Commercial mindset with a business-oriented approach.
• Collaborative team player.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to travel when required.
