Job Summary: As a Fire and Safety Technician at AI One Fire and Safety LLC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection and safety systems. This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in fire safety equipment and systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the safety and security of our clients by performing hands-on tasks related to fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
Install, inspect, test, and maintain various fire safety systems, including fire alarms, fire fighting, extinguishers, sprinklers, and emergency lighting.
Ensure compliance with local and national fire safety codes and regulations.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire safety equipment and systems.
Perform necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal functionality.
Inspections and Testing:
Conduct routine inspections of fire protection systems and equipment.
Perform testing and calibration to verify the proper operation of devices.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Provide detailed reports to clients regarding the status of their fire safety systems.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide education and guidance on fire safety best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in fire safety are a plus.
Proven experience as a Fire and Safety Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
