Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in estimating costs for interior fit-out projects. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and providing detailed quotations to clients. This role requires strong knowledge of materials, labor, and local market conditions in Dubai, with an emphasis on precision and attention to detail.

• Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
• Analyze and break down project scope, materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare and submit detailed bills of quantities (BOQs), cost breakdowns, and tender documents within required timelines.
• Ensure that estimates are compliant with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure the accuracy of estimates and assist in budget preparation.
• Continuously update and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment based on market trends.
• Assist in value engineering to offer cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Participate in site visits and meetings to understand project conditions and any potential cost impacts.
• Provide support during the negotiation phase, ensuring accurate cost information is conveyed to clients and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3-4 years of experience in cost estimation for interior fit-out projects, preferably in Dubai. Strong knowledge of materials, labor rates, and local suppliers in the UAE market. Familiarity with UAE regulations, building codes, and industry standards related to interior fit-outs. Proficient in estimation and cost control software, as well as MS Office (Excel). Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Excellent communication and negotiation skills:
