Description

Job Title: Sales Engineer – Heavy Equipment & Machinery

Location: Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to lead our Sales and Rental Operations, collaborate with our service and operations teams and maintain high levels of customer retention. Ideal candidates will have industry experience in heavy equipment and machinery, with a specialization in Aerial Work Platforms, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Telehandlers and Truck-Mounted Boom Lifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement effective sales & rental strategies to drive revenue growth for Aerial Work Platforms, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Telehandlers, and Truck-Mounted Boom Lifts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Actively engage with UG Service and Operations teams to maintain customer retention at an average of 85%.
- Maintain detailed records of all existing and upcoming projects based on parameters set by the Brand Manager (BM).
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs and competitive landscape. Use insights to adjust strategies and expand UG’s market presence.
- Handle key accounts as assigned by the BM, ensuring effective management and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics and prepare regular reports for management. Adjust tactics based on performance data to achieve targets.
- Increase UG’s existing customer database and develop market intelligence.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the company.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within the heavy equipment and machinery industry in UAE.
- Demonstrated success in selling and renting Aerial Work Platforms, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Telehandlers, and Truck-Mounted Boom Lifts.
- UAE Driving License Mandatory
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
