Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team, specializing in retail technology. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through managing existing accounts and acquiring new customers. This position is perfect for someone with a background in business and marketing who is new to the workforce or has minimal work experience. The successful candidate will exhibit a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a keen eye for identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation and Acquisition:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.

- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.

- Qualify leads and convert them into new customers.

2. Account Management:

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their retail technology experience.

- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

3. Sales Performance:

- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Track and report on sales performance metrics.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.

4. Market Expansion:

- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.

- Develop and implement plans to penetrate new markets.

- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and sales presentations.

5. Customer Engagement:

- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients.

- Provide exceptional customer service and address client queries promptly.

- Gather customer feedback and work with the product team to improve offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Educational Background:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Experience:

- Open to new graduates or candidates with minimal work experience in sales, marketing, or related roles.

3. Skills and Attributes:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.

- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and client needs.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
