• Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding the premises and ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors, and assets within the assigned area. This role involves patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol Assigned Area: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and deter potential security risks, unauthorized personnel, or suspicious activities.
• Monitor Surveillance Equipment: Utilize CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to monitor activity in the assigned area and promptly respond to any security breaches or incidents.
• Control Access: Regulate access to the premises by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Respond to Emergencies: Act swiftly and appropriately in response to emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security threats, and coordinate with emergency services as necessary.
• Enforce Security Policies: Enforce security procedures and protocols to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
• Report Incidents: Document and report security incidents, disturbances, or violations of security policies to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Provide Customer Service: Assist visitors, employees, and tenants by providing directions, information, or assistance as needed in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of patrols, incidents, and activities occurring during shifts as required by company policies or regulations.
• Conduct Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, such as alarms and locks, to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Remain Vigilant: Stay alert and vigilant at all times, continuously assessing the security environment and taking proactive measures to prevent security breaches.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Valid Security Guard License issued by the Dubai Police or relevant authorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification is a plus.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
