Description

Minimum 5 years of experience in Dubai in Import & Export, the candidate should have a sound knowledge of Customs operations, Dubai Municipality requirements.

The operations supervisor would be responsible for the operational results of the organization, while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Working Knowledge in GCC region with exposure to the rules and regulation of Customs and Governmental Authorities
Team player with excellent communication skills, should have leadership, while leading and developing skills of the reporting staff.
Multi-tasking approach and ability to prioritize when needed.
Pro-active approach in finding innovative solutions as and when required, also should be aware of procedures and obligations of exporting and importing goods.
Should ensure the organization is up to date and on par with various legal requirements by the local authorities, including documentation requirements with respect to local Customs, VAT, Excise, Municipality laws, practices, and requirements.
Should be able to liaise with authorities and customers to address and resolve any compliance related queries.
Regular compliance monitoring and reporting to management.
Prepare and maintain sufficient checklists, KPIs, registers and monitoring reports for Import and Export Operations.
Communicate and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders for various requirements and reporting as necessary.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
The suitable candidate will assist with the implementation of trade compliance processes, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and corporate policies.
Will conduct trade compliance risk assessments for business operations; identify trade compliance issues within the business units (clients)
Should be able to assist with trade compliance audits and bonded customs submission.’
Should be able to conduct root cause analysis and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
Will be responsible to monitor and keep track of changes in government policies, export control, sanctions and customs rules and regulations as they relate to company
Review contracts and Quality Agreements between, in order to set up KPI’s and SLA’s with the management for respective clients
Analyze data to monitor and evaluate performances, while planning improvements in the delivery performance and achieving Client specific KPI’s
Skills required:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Dubai
Knowledge of international export/import trade documentation requirements. Freight Invoice Creation
Detailed knowledge of Inco terms, sea/air/land freight forwarding processes, documentation requirements and custom documentation.
Should have working experience in dealing with local customs, E Mirsal, Dubai Trade, municipality, VAT, Excise laws, processes and documentation requirements. - vaibhav.batheatshipsmartdotme
