Description

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory. Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory levels are maintained.

Receiving and Dispatching: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure proper storage. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and coordinating with shipping carriers.
Stock Organization: Ensure proper organization and storage of goods in the warehouse. Implement effective shelving systems and labeling to facilitate easy retrieval of items.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity discrepancies. Report any issues to the appropriate departments and take necessary actions to address them.
Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and returns. Maintain electronic and physical documentation according to company policies.
Communication: Coordinate with other departments, including purchasing, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders as needed.
Health and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role preferred but not required for fresher candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
