Description

We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the storage, inventory, and distribution of goods in our warehouse in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products and materials are stored efficiently, tracked accurately, and readily available as required. This role is critical to maintaining smooth operations and inventory control within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods and materials.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
  • Properly label and store materials in designated storage areas to ensure easy identification and access.
  • Issue materials and supplies as requested, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to manage deliveries and returns.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and storage activities.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety standards, ensuring a secure and hazard-free environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Manager, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the UAE market or familiarity with local logistics practices.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (with appropriate certification).
