Description

AutoCAD Draftsman

• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Preparing shop drawing, ARCH and as built drawings for consultant Approval/contracting
• Preparing architectural drawings for authority approval.
• Preparation of concepts drawing
• Preparing shop drawings/as -built drawings/perspective for approvals to local authority, facility management and clients.
• Responsible for making detailed shop drawings based on concept drawing for production.
• Coordinate with production managers, Project managers and Designers to gather necessary technical design and changes.
• Prepare the joinery-cutting list for all those wooden/ metal / furniture and case goods/
• Make detailed shop drawings based on concept drawing for production.
• Prepare, read and interpret drawings and sketches
• Experience in architectural, structural, plumbing & drainage, fire protection & HVAC drawing production in CAD
• Take site measurements and accurately calculate the sizes and amount of materials needed.
• Following specifications and calculations to create various drawings
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Communicating with designers and engineers and incorporating knowledge gained onto drawings
• Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
• Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma holder
• With a minimum of 4 years- UAE experience from FIT-Out industry.
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience of working in AutoCAD
• Prepare as built drawings as per site conditions
• Prepare transmittal and drawing submissions
• Self-reliance and ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max,3D Modelling, Photoshop adobe and Microsoft Office.
• General knowledge of the interior décor fit out joinery industry is essential.
• Knowledge in space planning & commercial interior environment, Fit-out detailing, specifications, suppliers and materials is necessary.
• Knowledge of quantifying the material
• Excellent English language skills- verbal, written and spoken
