Job Description
- Install and align HDPE geomembrane liners.
- Perform extrusion and wedge welding.
- Conduct seam testing and repair defective welds.
- Read drawings and follow installation layouts.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Complete QA/QC records and daily reports.
- Comply with HSE, PTW, and site safety requirements.
- Install HDPE geomembrane liners as per project drawings and specifications
- Perform HDPE sheet laying, alignment, cutting, and fitting work
- Operate geomembrane welding equipment including hot wedge welding and extrusion welding machines
- Carry out seam welding and ensure proper joint quality
- Perform seam testing such as air pressure testing and vacuum box testing
- Inspect welded joints and identify defects, leaks, or weak areas
- Repair damaged geomembrane areas using approved welding techniques
- Handle geomembrane rolls, tools, and installation materials safely
- Prepare subgrade and ensure proper surface condition before installation
- Maintain welding machine settings and basic equipment checks
- Follow project quality standards and installation procedures
- Read and understand drawings, layouts, and site instructions
- Maintain daily work reports and installation records
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams
- Follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) rules at the worksite
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
Job Specification
Arshad Rasheed (Recruiter) is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of HDPE Geomembrane Installation Technician in the field of Engineering in one of their office located in Al Riyadh - Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have diploma qualification and atleast 5 years of experience. The position require experience in oil & gas projects. knowledge of ge, mechanical, welding, or related technical field preferred installation, extrusion welding, and hdpe liner installation knowledge of geomembra, jointing, testing, and repair works experience in mining, landfill, water treatment, dam, reservoir, solar, or industrial projects preferred ability to operat, vacuum test) good understanding of site drawings, measurements, and installation procedures strong focus on qualit, safety, and accuracy ability to work at project sites and, hdpe, extrusion, seam, repair, installation, equipment, site, project, sheet, alignment, cutting, fitting, pressure, tools, materials, surface, condition, machine, basic, quality standards mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.Salary vary between 3k to 5k (SAR) per month depending upon skills and years of experience candidate got.
