Description

Job Posting: Sand Blasting Worker

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces, such as metal, stone, or concrete.
• Ensure the proper use of protective equipment, including respirators, gloves, and safety gear.
• Inspect equipment for functionality and perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting as needed.
• Work with supervisors to ensure the sandblasting process meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
• Handle materials, equipment, and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain sandblasting equipment.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with abrasive blasting or other surface preparation methods.
• Knowledge of proper sandblasting techniques and materials.
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices and equipment.
