Key Responsibilities:

• Security Manager with SIRA.
• Developing Security Policies and Procedures:
• Drafting, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's physical assets, personnel, and information.
• Regularly reviewing and updating security protocols to adapt to evolving threats and compliance requirements.
• Risk Assessment and Management:
• Conducting risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the organization.
• Developing strategies to mitigate risks effectively and minimize the likelihood of security breaches.
• Security Infrastructure Management:
• Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborating with relevant departments to ensure proper integration of security measures into the organization's infrastructure and operations.
• Security Training and Awareness:
• Providing training to employees on security best practices, emergency procedures, and incident response protocols.
• Fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization by promoting vigilance and adherence to security policies.
• Incident Response and Crisis Management:
• Developing and implementing response plans for security incidents, such as breaches, thefts, or unauthorized access.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders, law enforcement agencies, and external security experts to manage and mitigate the impact of security incidents effectively.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to security, privacy, and data protection.
• Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and advising management on necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
• Security Audits and Investigations:
• Conducting regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures and identify areas for improvement.
• Leading investigations into security incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Vendor Management:
• Evaluating and selecting third-party security vendors and contractors to provide specialized security services or technologies.
• Managing relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements, and overseeing the quality of deliverables.
• Security Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
• Developing and managing the security budget, allocating resources effectively to support the organization's security objectives.
• Identifying cost-effective solutions and investments to enhance security capabilities without compromising operational efficiency.
• Executive Reporting and Communication:
• Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of security operations, emerging threats, and key performance indicators.
• Serving as a liaison with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities on security-related matters.
• Overall, the role of a security manager is critical in safeguarding the organization's assets, reputation, and resilience against security threats and risks. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to security management.
