A Walk-in Interview is the traditional way on how to find Jobs. Usually companies are posting ads on the buildings, stores, and now the internet. The ads usually contain below details:

Pros and Cons of Walk-in Interviews:

A walk-in interview have its bright side and of course the downside. Let’s start with its pros.

Pros:

Walk-in Interviews showcase the experience and knowledge of the job seekers. This would be the first time that the HR/Interviewer will have a glance at your resume/CV, chances are you can pitch or sell yourself and the interviewer will focus on your knowledge and not on the written items in your resume like, Honors, Nationality, Age, Experience, etc. Hence, you have a higher chance to compete with other applicants.

Cons:

The downside of walk-in Interviews is it will take too much of your time, searching for the location, waiting for your turn to be interviewed. Sometimes one company is taking a whole day to interview the applicants. As an urgent job seeker, it will be hard for you to maximize your day. Lastly, we are aware of the companies asking for processing fees. All your efforts will be wasted if you fall into trap of such agencies. So just a reminder that always be vigilant in choosing the company that you will be visiting.
