Description

A Fire System Maintenance Engineer in the UAE is responsible for the upkeep and repair of fire protection systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and in compliance with safety regulations. This includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to emergencies. They also manage contractors, supervise staff, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning & Execution:
Developing and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programs for various fire protection systems, such as fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and suppression systems.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnosing and resolving faults, malfunctions, or system breakdowns in a timely manner.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensuring all work adheres to relevant fire safety regulations, codes, and standards, including those set by the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, testing, and repairs.
Supervision & Management:
Overseeing contractors, engineering, and technical staff, and managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
Coordination:
Working with relevant authorities like the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence (ADCD).
Emergency Response:
Responding to fire alarm activations and other emergencies related to fire protection systems.
Training:
Providing technical support and training to clients and team members.
Design & Installation:
May also be involved in the design and installation of new fire protection systems or the modification of existing ones.

The ideal candidate should have bachelor's degree: a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is generally preferred. diploma: a diploma in mechanical or electrical qualification and atleast 3 years of experience. The position require fire, system maintenance, engineer, repair, fire protection, compliance, safety, regulations, maintenance, troubleshooting, contractors, staff, maintenance planning, execution, corrective maintenance, alarms, system, fire safety, standards, life, record keeping, activities, testing, supervision, management, engineering, installation mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
